3. How we use your information

We use your personal information to:

  • Respond to your flooring fitting enquiry
  • Prepare and send you a written quote
  • Arrange and carry out fitting work you have booked
  • Contact you about an existing booking or completed job

We do not use your information for marketing, and we do not send newsletters or promotional emails.

We process your enquiry data under legitimate interests. You have contacted us to request a commercial service, and responding to that enquiry is in both your interests and ours.

For booked jobs, we process your information because it is necessary for the performance of a contract between us.

Where we have a legal obligation to retain records (for example, for tax purposes), we rely on compliance with a legal obligation as our lawful basis.

5. How long we keep your information

Enquiries that do not progress to a booking: we retain your contact information for up to 24 months in case you return to book, after which it is deleted.

Completed jobs: we retain records for 6 years after the job is completed. This covers our legal obligations for tax records and gives both parties time to raise any dispute.

6. Who we share your information with

Formspree: when you submit the contact form on this website, your message is processed by Formspree (formspree.io), a third-party form processing service. Formspree receives your name, contact details and message and forwards them to us by email. Formspree is subject to its own privacy policy: formspree.io/legal/privacy-policy.

Google Analytics: website usage information (see section 2) is processed by Google (Google Analytics 4) on our behalf, only so that we can see how the site is used and improve it. We have turned off Google signals and ad personalisation, so this information is not used for advertising. Google is subject to its own privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy.

xAI: messages typed into the chat assistant are sent to xAI (x.ai), whose AI model writes the replies. We do not store chat conversations. xAI is subject to its own privacy policy: x.ai/legal/privacy-policy.

We do not sell, rent or share your personal data with any other third parties for marketing or commercial purposes.
