Who we are
A Fit-Only Flooring Team in Birmingham
FitFloors is a three-person flooring fitting team based in Birmingham. We cover the whole city and surrounding West Midlands areas including Solihull, Sutton Coldfield, Harborne, Edgbaston, Smethwick and West Bromwich.
We are a labour-only service. We do not stock or sell flooring. You choose the flooring you want — from B&Q, Carpetright, Flooring Superstore, Karndean, Amtico or anywhere else — and we install it correctly. No showroom, no sales pressure, no markup on materials.
We fit all flooring types: carpet, laminate, engineered wood, herringbone, vinyl (sheet, SPC and click), luxury vinyl tile (LVT including Karndean and Amtico), stair carpet and subfloor levelling and preparation.

The team
The FitFloors Fitting Team
FitFloors is a small team — three experienced floorers who have been fitting across Birmingham for years. Being a small team means every job is done by one of us, not passed on to a subcontractor or a fitter you've never met.
We keep the team small deliberately. Small teams fit better: we have time to prepare the subfloor properly, cut borders precisely and leave the job clean. A larger team with more jobs booked means corners get cut.

Most flooring companies sell you the product and fit it. That arrangement works for them — the margin is in the materials, not the labour. But it means you pay more for the flooring than you would if you bought it yourself, and you're limited to what they stock.
We do it differently. You shop around for the flooring you want. You compare prices online, in-store, on sale. You choose the brand, the colour, the width. Then you call us and we fit it.
The result: you get exactly the flooring you want at the best price you can find, fitted properly by a team that earns its money from the quality of the installation — not from selling you a product.

No Markup on Materials
You pay the retail price for your flooring. Our quote is for labour only.
Unbiased Advice
We have no reason to push one brand over another. We tell you honestly what suits your room and your subfloor.
